Sadly, I do not drink a lot of CDP‘s. However, I found this to be quite decent at 15 years young. Still good balance. A decent bottle from this region for the price point. — 3 months ago

This is such an utterly brilliant wine. Just beyond. Nose is the most vivid olives and gorgeous blackberry fruit and granite infused love. 9.8 nose. Utterly captivating. Palate is rich and ripe but teeming with granitic energy. Unreal inner mouth olive aromas, and just insanely juicy and painfully concentrated. Unreal length and I only showing 10% of itself and we are at 9.8. I will be back. Wow. Unreal finesse now and length. There is a dark evil to this wine that adds to the overall vibe. Outrageous florals now an hour in. Really meaty element now as well. So supple and silky but firm structure, minerals and granite on the finish. Tannins getting more imposing but ripe and sweet. — 3 months ago
Kyle thought it was right down the middle - enjoyed but not a standout — 8 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
The Clos du Roy has been around ever since the dukes of Burgundy, residing in nearby Dijon, documented, and drank in its virtues.
Ruby red color with aromas of ripe fruits with floral perfume and earthy tones, aged for 14 months in 30% new oak. On the palate flavors of berry and plum fruits, with pepper spice notes. Soft fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral and earthy spice character. — a month ago
