Not the rosé, the tinto (red). — 2 years ago
In beautiful shape, better than I remember the last bottle being. Dried red and black fruits, dry dusty tannins, forest floor, dried porcini mushroom and old leather umami nodes, cedar, dried herbs. Did I mention it’s dry? But it’s a beautiful wine, the flavor profile exudes sun baked warmth but the alcohol clocks in at less than 12% so it doesn’t fatigue the palate — 3 years ago
Nice red dry wine with a bright taste — 3 months ago
When somebody recommends a bottle of wine... you should listen.

Just the right amount of earthiness in the bouquet. Great fruit and balance. Good table wine. — 3 years ago
Light body like a Pinot but deep flavor. Great texture juicy nice tannins very excellent. I really like this wine. — a year ago
2018 vintage. Owned by Roger Zannier. Vinified by João Cabral Nicolau de Almeida. Dark red with purplish rim. Intense nose with blackberry jam, amarena cherries and subtle oak. Powerful, but fresh , with layers of black fruit packed in a ripe tannic structure. Long spicy finish. Abv. 13,5%. — 3 years ago

My liquor store guy gave me this and asked me to rate it. Portugal isn't my wheelhouse, but free wine is...
This is a blend of Syrah, Castelão, and Tinta Roriz grapes. Bright ruby color. Syrah defines the nose with muted red fruit and some spice. It's a very light-bodied wine with flavors of cherry, strawberry, violets, and a quick mineral finish. Very pleasing; I could see this being a nice alternative to Gamay at a pizza party. And it's cheap, I think my guy is doing it for $12, and he's usually priced a little high. It's a shame summer is ending- this is a light, refreshing red. I would love to know what some of you seasoned veterans think. Come grab a glass!
