Jardín Secreto Tempranillo 2019

v19. Very good! Floral and raspberry nose. Fresh raspberry and black cherry fruit. Round, smooth, slightly chalk and chewy, mocha finish. Nice! — 9 months ago

Santo Tomás

Duetto Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

One of the finer examples of Mexican wine out there. Clean leather, plum, pomegranate, vanilla, and a finish reminiscent of tamarind. — 2 years ago

Dependably quite nice! Killer price point to boot. A much better use of NM than bomb development (understatement) — 9 months ago

Monte Xanic

Valle de Guadalupe Chenin Colombard 2022

Had the 2022 in January of 2024 with chicken tinga. What a nice little wine. Minerality and a touch of citrus with some floral on the nose. Hints of lime on the tongue and a hint of hibiscus on the nose. This was a lot like a New Zealand sauv blanc but with a softer punch. Enjoyed this and wondering about going through the hassle of obtaining this one again. Definitely would if it was easier to get. — 10 months ago

Monte Xanic

Gran Ricardo Valle de Guadalupe Red Blend 2017

Let this decant for 45-60 minutes and definitely helped open it up. Nose has slight bouquet of dark berries along with cherry and hints of leather. A very light jam flavor in mid palate and subtle tannins that make this wine something you can merely sip away or combine with a meal. — 10 months ago
