Really a great wine at this point in its point in life. A sister bottle tasted 2 years ago was rather rough on the palate. The tannins have softened while the elegant nose is still there. Really enjoying this bottle! Cheers!

Rich yellow in color with a golden hue.
Fruity on the nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing ripe citrus fruits, yellow apples, light apricots, spices, light cedar, earth, herbs and white pepper.
Long finish with lemons and light spices.
This 9 year old Napa Chardonnay is drinking beautifully now. Rich and fruit forward. Juicy and entertaining. Alcohol is nicely integrated by now.
Elegant and nicely balanced. Complex, engaging and good right out of the bottle.
Drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next 5 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine.
14.9% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Unexpectedly really good. Medium oak, not too buttery. Nice fruit notes. Not too acidic. From the Cove. A solid Cali Chardonnay to me. Good value. — 6 months ago

Does not taste like a Pinot. But it is delicious. Hefty, but not tannic or spicy. Dark berry flavor, but not super earthy — 4 years ago

This wine has held up very well at 11 years old. I think this was my last bottle. — a year ago
This wine is colored yellow-gold. I found the nose to be strange, with apple, pear, and nectarine aromas up front, followed by an odd scent of vanilla and butter. It has a hint of the smell of the butter offered on popcorn at the movies. The palate gives the fruit center stage as well, with oak notes a bit more prominent. The acidity is nice and the mouthfeel is full. It's not a wine I will seek out in the future, even though I rather like buttery Chardonnay. — a year ago

Very pretty. Faded with a touch of balsamic. Poised and pretty. Very light but complete. Pristine for a 50 year old cab — 5 months ago
