Bordeaux trip. Château Grand Barrail. $50.00. Classic Right Bank Bordeaux. Smooth Merlot start, with nice tannin finish. — 5 years ago
Beautiful blend of the best of Languedoc whites. 42% Roussanne, 40% Grenache Blanc, 15% Clairette & 5% Viognier. Estate bottled from grapes apparently grown on the 32 hectares of historic vineyards where multiple Roman legions were stationed to protect the vineyards of this region… for god reason. An Eric Solomon selection so it has been selected by someone with the ability to source great wines! Wonderful floral components with light minerality and mildly acid combined with a slight taste of residual sweetness from the fruit forward grapes typical@of the region to give this refreshing wine a perfect balance! — 9 months ago

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Apparently this is 100% Syrah. Color is purple red for sure. Nose is smokey with maybe some caramelized sugar? The taste is very spicy, leather and smooth. It is very good. — 2 years ago
Prieure Saint-Hippolyte - Languedoc - Blanc
50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Viognier, 25% Vermentino
Nice fresh fruit, dry, Peach, pear, floral, wax, stones.
Not the biggest, baddest, longest aging wine ever, but... a very well made Languedoc Blanc to be enjoyed now, under $15.
Guessing 11-12.5% ABV (label range 11-14), went nicely with an omelette dinner.

30 years old and still bringing it. Drank with my blushing bride of 51 years on Valentine’s Day. It was a good choice. Both. — 2 months ago
