Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts (6%) of Merlot and Malbec blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black cherry/currants, violets and toffee. The palate is also black fruit focused with additional flavors of chocolate, black licorice and black pepper. Touch of vanilla and fresh herbs on the medium length finish. The tannins have smoothed out and the acidity is quite bright. More medium bodied and subtly sweet. Easy drinker. — 2 years ago
Solid and definitely needed the aerator but aging well. Will be excellent in a few years. Deep and earthy. Lots of dark fruit. — 5 years ago
Black currant here with maybe a powderier and softer structure than I remember in other vintages. That said, this is such a great wine year after year. If you enjoy it, try getting your hands on their Vulture which is 100% Cab Franc for a similar expression without the merlot to mellow it. — 6 years ago

A stunner. Opened with that rustic cab smell. Not sure what lies beneath that initial nose. And then just pure explosive goodness in the glass. Black fruit, swirling with brown fruit in every sip. Lingering finish made for a wonderful moment or two. — 7 years ago

What a delicious bottle of wine. I’m not remembering when or where I got this or the cost but I’m impressed with how well it has held up after 23 years. — a year ago

Black cherry, raspberry preserves, eucalyptus, licorice, vanilla, loganberry and oak. Medium-bodied and moderate tannins. — 5 years ago
Paired it with Latchi Indian food from Penticton while the fires are raging in Christie Mountain. Wines like this make you forget the world around you. What a crazy year you’ve been 2020! — 6 years ago
Seriously delicious. The most memorable cab franc I have had. — 7 years ago
Went on a wine tour here and this was one of the wines we got to sample. Very tasty and light. Yeah Canada!!! — 8 years ago

Ripe strawberry and fig on the nose and palate, a round structured body and delicious on a grey, rainy summer evening. — 14 days ago
