Tawny coloration with the slightest bit of transparency. On the nose, cherry, currants, plum, forest floor, sweet tobacco and florals. On the palate, full body, cherry, plum, spice, leather, sweet tobacco, earth/dust/minerals, tannins strong and chewy. Long finish of chocolate and sweet berry. Layered and complex wine. — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 5 months ago
Very tasty Barbera with some tanins, but not overwhelming. Had it with pasta and this worked very well. Usually not a big fan of Barbera, but this one stands out. — 20 days ago

Vintage 2016 | I am learning on Nebbiolo and this is good practice material. See the description of 2016 of @Lyle Fass very adequate. A treat! — 6 months ago
A fantastic bottle of Brunello we had in Florence. Deep red and full bodied. Great depths of flavor, cherry, vanilla, tobacco, and lightly floral. — 22 days ago
Another great btl that was consistent with my prior notes — 2 months ago
Paired with brisket. Yum! Better the second day; give it some time to open. — 3 months ago

Dusty cherry, strawberry, leather, and tobacco on the finish. Still zippy acid after 19 years! — 9 days ago
