Honeydew Melon, lime, green apple. Outstanding — 2 years ago
Beautiful garnet color. Smokey, musty, and earthy on the nose. Cedar, black raspberries, leather, and tobacco. Well integrated and not overpowering. Very satisfying finish. A real treat to drink a 40-year old wine that is so pleasing to smell, look at, and taste. — 3 years ago
A new release Vinified by the acclaimed Phillipe Melka Winemaker and Vinter from Napa Valley. This shows its potential to age, since a 2022 feels aggressive on the mouthfeel (even after decanting for 120mins), definitely isn’t ready. Needs time. However; was able to appreciate the leather and minty notes, and the cedar accent, together with tobacco and a touch of velvet. Very powerful. — 6 days ago

I don’t get to drink it often, but Meursault is my white wine jam. This one is very nice. Nose has oatmeal, wet clay, limestone, a little note of toasty hazelnut, crisp apple skin fruit. Very round and soft and full in the mouth. Deep flavors. Ideally, I’d love a bit more squeeze-o’-lemon acid drive, but it’s a 2020 and this is the age of climate warming. And for a ‘20 the acids are pretty nice. This’ll do just fine tonight. — 9 days ago
