This is an excellent light bodied Pinot Noir. Bought it after a tasting at the winery in PEC a few years ago. Bright, fresh strawberries upfront with some darker berries and light herbs/spice at the back and surprising depth. Like his chards, Norman Hardie is the best Ontario has to offer IMHO. They stand up to many old world offerings (yes burgundy purists, it is true); unfortunately at notably higher price points, which are a bit hard to swallow (sorry, bad pun). Love this wine. Not too acidic like a lot of PEC Pinot. Ripe strawberries and dried violets. Shorter finish than I’d like, but such a great natural Pinot! — 5 years ago

Tobacco. Smoke. A bit of red fruit…. Mainly raspberry. It really has come along after aging it a few years.

Overall: fantastic.
