2013. Bright and beautiful. Very little added sulfur - only at bottling. Healthy fruit, picked properly, wine made with a frugal touch. There is much wisdom in this winemaking. Norman is making some serious juice.

Super light 11.2% Cab Franc - thought it was Pinot Noir. Fresh drinking. Lightest Cab Franc I have had. Fun wine

Good prickly pineapple nose, lemon very zesty. Palates nicely balanced with succulent fruit and well integrated oak giving a firm finish.90pts

This is an excellent light bodied Pinot Noir. Bought it after a tasting at the winery in PEC a few years ago. Bright, fresh strawberries upfront with some darker berries and light herbs/spice at the back and surprising depth. Like his chards, Norman Hardie is the best Ontario has to offer IMHO. They stand up to many old world offerings (yes burgundy purists, it is true); unfortunately at notably higher price points, which are a bit hard to swallow (sorry, bad pun). Nice treat!

Young and brash, tart fruits, a bit jammy. Should age well.
