So worth the wait on this wine and I know it can age further!
Tannins nicely integrated! Big Rutherford Dust, milk chocolate, black licorice, caramel, plum skins, blackberries, cherry cobbler, boysenberry, tar, pencil lead, and graphite! I could probably keep swirling, tasting..to discover more wonderful nuances..time 🕕 to sit back and enjoy! 😁

Paired this delicious wine, from our last trip to Sonoma County 2016, with spinach and ricotta ravolis. We've been letting it settle from it's move from NJ to IL and decided St Patrick's day Eve seemed like as good of an excuse as any to break it open. Worth the wait. Label say...in the winter, when you draw the wine, let there be in your heat a song for each cup... Well singing it's praises. Full-bodied and we'll rounded finish.
