No mouse as warned. Don’t really drink too many non skin contact whites but I dig this. Texture but not heavy 10.5. These wacko Loire/Jura wines are amazing. Chambers wins again. — 3 months ago
Fruity, tart, light, earthy, long finish. Easy drinking with great flavor and complexity . — 3 months ago
love pineau d'aunis and this is such a fun, gripping expression — 25 days ago
Just wonderful — 2 months ago
Took time to open up. Smoked meat, dry briars, cracked rocks, dried mushrooms, wild raspberries, fresh flowers, under ripe strawberry, fresh white mushroom, gravel, rosemary, cherry and pomegranate. Still wound really tight at 13 years old; feels like it needs at least another 5 years to open up. — 3 months ago
70% Pineau d'Aunis / 20% Pinot Noir / 10% Cabernet Franc from the Coteaux du Vendômois AOC in the Loire Valley; 50-90 year old vines.
Color is dark purple, lightly translucent.

Palate has plum and blackberry, tremendous backbone of white pepper, earth with crunchy minerality, medium bodied and gentle but snappy tannins.

Fruit. A beauty. — 2 months ago
Pale lemon green in appearance. Very distinct nose with wax, crayon and a little bit of lemon. Balanced acidity (6/10) and medium bodied. Layered with minerality, spices, a touch wax with ton of citrus. Long finish. Drink till 2022. — 3 months ago
