Nose has metallic blackberry, white pepper, ripe plum, prune and baking spices.

Palate has tart plum, dried blackberry, white pepper on mashed black cherries and potting soil. Medium body, light minerality, medium finish. Nice wine, young, could really benefit from a few years of proper resting.

60% Pineau d’Aunis / 30% Pinot Noir / 10% Cabernet Franc

A solid pairing with local (Jacüterie/Hudson Valley, NY) British Bangers on the grill tonight, peppery wine with well spiced, fresh sausage, yum!

Very... cinnamony? I think it’s probably good but better with food.
