Nose has metallic blackberry, white pepper, ripe plum, prune and baking spices.
Palate has tart plum, dried blackberry, white pepper on mashed black cherries and potting soil. Medium body, light minerality, medium finish. Nice wine, young, could really benefit from a few years of proper resting.

A solid pairing with local (Jacüterie/Hudson Valley, NY) British Bangers on the grill tonight, peppery wine with well spiced, fresh sausage, yum! — 5 years ago
Dominant green apple flavor, almost cidery, but there’s good depth of flavor, including melon and citrus. Also honeysuckle and a hint of spice, all supported by a nice backbone of mouth watering acidity. — 5 years ago

Incredible Traditional Brut! I really enjoy extra dry cava and while this is from France not Spain I’ll be buying it again. If the bubbles were smaller I would definitely give it a 10! It’s dry but has a long finish that’s amazing, really well balanced. — 6 years ago

This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — 7 months ago
