Back at Arcane after a year+. Dinner was excellent as always- the tasting menu seemed like a best of with all of their classic dishes. The wine picked by our Som was exactly as he explained-starts juicy but with time it opened up and got more complex. — 2 months ago
The 2021 vintage is much better than the 2020 in this wine. Classic Etna Rosso with elegant mouthfeel and balanced acidic finish. Light red wine that is a good alternative for Burgundy. This Etna’s fruit is more restrained but still present and more Burgundy than New World in style. — 2 months ago
2021 vintage. Hints of richness throughout but never a safe space. Ultimately lean with a massive tannic howdoyoudo but always balanced. This wine will challenge most palates to the moon and beyond. Pretty phenomenal for QPR, yet so distinctive, thinking the general wine public needs a solid two decades to grasp. Screams for food except for the cork dorks that would gobble this up 8 days a week. Oh Sicily! 11.20.24. — 3 months ago
This is a powerhouse Nerello. Tannic, dark, red fruit but primarily darker fruit. Good acidity, smoky and complex. This is built for long aging. Delicious! — 2 months ago

Would never guess this in a blind tasting. Apparently he’s trying to create “the Burgundy of Sicily”. I see the connection but much drier and tannic than a Burgundy pinot. But still nice fruit character. Got better with air. — 25 days ago
