I’ve tasted couple excellent bottles of well aged Pinot from Ashley’s vineyard. This Chardonnay is young but very good too.
The 2022 combines the AVA’s coastal freshness with the vintage’s generous ripeness. Aromas of lemon zest, yellow apple, and grilled pineapple mingle with vanilla, brioche, and a saline breeze. The palate is sleek yet plush, balancing citrus-driven acidity with creamy mid-palate weight. Subtle spice frame a long juicy finish.

A good representation of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, this bursts with a juicy core of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and a hint of pomegranate with distinct savory undertone of fried herbs and forest floor. Plush and approachable now, but should age well for the next 5-8 years. — a month ago
Nice mix of mineral and sweetness. Perfect for early summer. — 7 months ago

It’s got the nose of a Douro red, and the it’s got the punch of a Douro red on the first sip. Strangely enough it becomes a more normal rose on subsequent sips. Crisp and clean acidity until a few bitter high notes intrude on the finish. This is my new favorite rose! — 24 days ago
