Bedrock Wine Co.

Dolinsek Ranch Heritage Red Blend

Young and fresh but showing many of the Dolinsek’s traditional traits: a big nose of blue and black fruits followed by a fruit forward wine of the same. It’s got bright acidity and firm tannins with a hint of black olive and pepper deeper in the wine. Drinking well now with loads of potential. — a month ago

Natty: Native yeasts. Minimal racking

Dolinsek Ranch Heirloom Russian River Valley Red Blend 2009

Popped for Zoom tasting with Morgan Peterson and his father, Joel Peterson. Very stylish well-mannered mature field blend. Wine was lighter than expected both in the glass and on the palate. Silky smooth and light textured, with plenty of ripe red fruit and enough acidity to effortlessly dance the wine across the tongue. Long, textured finish. The wine is fully evolved and drinking well now. Don’t see any reason to wait. Cheers for two lives given over to love of wine...Joel and Morgan... this glass is raised in your honor...Salute! — 6 years ago

Grape(s): unknown
Region: Maine/East Coast
Purchased from: Producer
Distributor/Importer: NA
Natty: yes! No to low sulfites, native yeasts, no interventions. Unfiltered
Notes: Solid table wine, would go great with pizza. Lots of fruit and bright notes, but heft and body as well to stand up to bigger dishes. Grapey american wine taste.
