Sandhi Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir 2014: Medium-light body. Soft tannins. Medium acidity. Beautiful light red/cranberry color. Delicate perfumed nose with bright red fruits (cherry, strawberry & raspberry). Orange peel. Dried herbs. Earth. Cedar. Smooth easy finish. All in all, I loved, loved, loved this wine. It was drinking perfectly, beautifully balanced and a great representation of the local Sta Rita Hills terroir; felt like I was drinking a Burgundy wine! One of the best Santa Barbara Pinots out there! Happy Sunday Funday! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago

One of my favorite #orange wines. Hazy, cidery, juicy, totally funky skin contact vibes. Doesn’t suffer from being overly dry like some organes. Stock up for summer as it doesn’t suffer in flavour when it warms slightly on a hot afternoon. — 4 years ago

Jästig och tråkigt pepprig inledningsvis. Efter ordentlig luftning klev en angenäm fruktighet fram. Helt ok! — 4 years ago

Not much info these days on the label about the grape varieties used, but it’s fruity, full flavored, an almost viscous body, and it’s orange in color. Not much skin astringency for an orange, but you know all they’ll talk about is the color. Good value though.
The vineyard website suggests a 44.5/25/14/9.5/7 blend of Grenache Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grenache Gris, Orange Muscat and Chenin Blanc, with aromas of stone fruit and citrus with flavors of peach, apricot and citrus peel. Fair enough — 4 days ago
