On the 2nd day this opened up completely. Great spot for this Norte! Loads of chocolate and cedar. — 6 months ago
Really enjoyable oaked Rioja, normally I go for an un-oaked variety to pair with oysters. Very smooth and silky with a hint of white stone fruit on the palette and a nice oaky finnish but still fresh! — 17 days ago
Punchy crowpleaser: heavy, almost syrupy body with strong, bold flavors of oaky vanilla, ripe black cherry, and cinnamon spice. Smooth and round mouthfeel. Not terribly complex but a joy to drink. — a month ago

Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of cherries, tabacco, and dried blueberries; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, high tannins, medium body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of dried cherries, wet gravel, and cedar with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, is rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it too. Actually paired well with Chinese food. — 4 days ago
