Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Light golden color. Aromas of tropical, citrus and stone fruits, fresh herbs and freshly cut grass. Flavors of grapefruit, passion fruit, green apple and melon and nectarines with a slight note of flint/crushed stones. Medium finish and vibrant acidity. Just a hint of RS. Medium-bodied and crisp. Crunchy texture. Crowd pleasing and reliable but not spectacular. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 4 days ago

Estate Grown Finger Lakes Dry Riesling 2024

Excellent dry Riesling, vibrant apricot and orchard fruit accents and a silky, mineral-driven mouthfeel that paired well with an oily salmon dish at Hope Club American Wine dinner. — a month ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2025

This is a secret weapon for parties. Consistently good and punches way above its weight class. The nose is saline (sweat) and grassy. Flavors of lemon, grapefruit, peach. Lower acidity, which makes it a party favor. My friends say, "This isn't too dry..." On sale for $10, but i would splurge and pay $12 😛
Listening to a song I'm working on. Meh.

Served on the colder side, but this was great! Balance between NY and German influence. Integrated sweetness. Loved it! — 11 days ago

Burn Cottage

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2022

Home vineyard bottling. Dark and brooding on the nose. Classic Central. Dark fruit, savoury spice, earth. The palate has good weight and concentration of dark slightly sour cherry, and wood spice. Enough acid to provide the structure needed to hold the power together — 3 months ago

Brut Champagne Blend 2017

Fancy stuff for the World Cup. Maybe the best champagne I’ve had. Smells toasty and slightly bread like. Flavors are citrus and saline. Bright and delicate. Lovely. — 3 months ago

Canberra District Shiraz Viognier 2015

No note on Delectable since May 2017 - 473 weeks ago. Smoked meat, Asian spices - an intoxicating nose. On the medium bodied palate - sweet red fruits with spices. Tim Kirk, the owner and winemaker said at the time it was the best Shiraz Viognier he had ever made for what is considered the benchmark for this blend in Australia. 98 points from HH and 18.5 points+ from Jancis. Very detailed as you would expect from Tim Kirk. — 4 months ago
