@Delectable Wine this is the Vinha Senna white blend.
Blend of Bical & Encruzado
Nicely aromatic, with a round, yellow stone fruit profile. Plus a pinch of dried herbs, some sea salt. Rounded yet quite savoury. And fresh.
Beautiful mouthfeel - medium body, a hint of creaminess, a slightly savoury, tannic touch to the purity of yellow fruit. And, in the long finish, the salty minerality shines through.
This has very nice depth & tension.

Muted nose with some white flowers, light honey, fresh & quite cool.
On the palate with some weight (Encruzado influence?), a touch creamy, with some underripe white peach, white tea, a hint of bitter almond with a salty tang towards the mineral finish.
Not overly complex or too sophisticated,
but drinking nicely. — 3 years ago
Pipe tobacco and plums waft from the glass. Once allowed to open up, barnyard aromas emmerge. The palate is surprisingly lean and vibrant. Lots of fresh acidity and mineral touches. Graphite makes another appearance. Acid and tannin give the wine significant structure. This could use a rest, lay down for 8 years? — 8 years ago
Ripe fruit but not over anything with enough freshness to carry it through. Soft and long. — 2 years ago
Great expression of encruzado, easily could be mistaken for a good chablis. — 7 years ago
