This shot is for @Norman Gennaro.
So here’s the deal... wifey and I have a small place, which means that we can’t build a room with a cellar - we just don’t have the real estate. So, working with
@Mo Salem, our cellar needed to be an integral part of our living space. We’re doing something similar below our stairs. Keep you posted on that.

Let’s turn to this stunning SB. Aromas of grapefruit and slate on the nose. Palate is flinty and honied. Perfect acidity and weight on the mid-palate. It’s exuberant all the way to the finish. $22!!! 😀

Nice value for the price point! Nose screams more herbaceous/brambly notes followed by a juicy, red berry-driven palate. The mouthfeel is very plush and full but tempered by some tangy acidity and sleek tannins. — 3 years ago

Stone Hill Winery

Chambourcin 2017

Taking a cue from @Severn Goodwin I’m drinking some MO wine, which is made just a few hours from where I live. I had never had anything by Stone Hill prior to this, assuming it wasn’t very good, but I was wrong. This is a great light bodied red and was great with a slight chill. Black and blue fruits, forest floor, and a mineral streak combine with medium + acid and light tannins for an easy drinking, dry, fresh red. I bought a few of this producer’s wines and look forward to trying the others. A pleasant surprise! — 4 years ago

Color - Pale Ruby
Palate- Fresh picked strawberries, a splash of spices & tobacco. Perfect amount of acidity, tannins are soft & approachable. Certainly one of the best PN’s I’ve had out of California in the last 12 mo.
Sensational bottle of wine. Recommended highly.

A hallmark of the Clendenen-made wines. Rarely electric guitar. Almost exclusively violin. You must sift through and analyze vs being punched in the face. Waay too many people apparently are lost on subtlety and prefer being punched in the face. Pity.

Domaine du Viking

Tendre Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2013

It's been about 17 mo. since our last bottle, and we're seeing some improvement.

Nose has warmed Granny Smith apple with butter.
Palate had serious zingy acidity to start, but since subsided, now a combo of yellow/green apple, water chestnut and a minerally honey.
We're seeing continued improvement as the decant time continues.

@William Hughes It's good juice, we bought these in April 2016, I assume the current release is likely a '15 or '16, both fine years for Loire, originally $22, we paid $17. You'll be happy to enjoy if you can find, it's a Jon-David Headrick selection.
