Michael Mara Vineyard Chardonnay 2020

This is in an interesting place. It’s still very fresh with lemon and fresh grass/hay, but more brioche and ripe apples than I usually expect. Lemon curd and stones, maybe some nectarine in there. Good amount of creaminess and heading towards baked pear/apple territory. Fascinating. Not as good as the donkey and goat chard I recently had, but this reminds me of Chablis meets champagne blanc de blanc. — 15 days ago

La Combe Verte Pinot Noir 2021

Pretty good. A lot of earth, berries on the nose. Baking spice, more earth and herbs. But fruit shows throughout. Way better in day 2 of being open. — a month ago

Zinfandel 2022

This is enjoyable in a massive CA overripe wine style! There’s a good amount of all the peppers, bell, jalapeños, white, cracked black, huge amount of purple/black fruit. Jan. Vanilla and some woodsy notes. I’d drink again. — 2 months ago

Rapture Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This and the rose are my favorites from Michael David. Huge wine. Explosion of fruit on the nose. Not a lot of oak/wood which is great. Smooth and drinkable. This is a great bbq wine that at or just bellow cellar temp is even better. I’d buy again — a month ago
