Trying to get into white burgundy this spring/summer. I like this style, lean, some roundness, crisp. Any suggestions sub $25? — 4 years ago

Delicious and spicy. Why is finding a good red burgundy for $20 so difficult? — 5 years ago

Côte de Nuits Villages Aux Montagnes 2015

Took a while to open up, but once it did, it's all flowers & spices. This one is gonna be killer--holding the next bottle for a bit. Paired with braised french onion chicken with gruyère. — 3 years ago

Viré-Clessé Vieilles Vignes Chardonnay 2014

Strong smell of citrus fruit. Taste is definite lemon mixed with vanilla. Nice mouthfeel. Good reminder of why I like white burgundies. Great deal on WTSO. — 5 years ago

Paul Croses Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2014

A plethora of notes coming from this fabulous wine. Bright color, loads of slate and minerals and some oakiness. This is an outstanding effort. Pairs wonderfully with cheese — 3 years ago

Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Dusty creek basin, dried raspberries, cranberries and rainier cherry contrast with sliced red plum, crepe paper, sunflower petal. Incredible depth and texture, with stony plum, dried black cherry, fig skin, powdery raspberry, dried violets, and a baked, black olive and red saffron aura. This is a fine burgundy, and at a price that makes you smile! — 5 years ago
