Orange wine tasting, probably the best of the 4 — 7 years ago
Blend of cabernet and merlot, but the wine spends three years in oak and cherry casks. The nose reminded me of a nebbiolo. Dried fruits and sour cherries blended with tobacco and tar. Pretty great stuff — 7 years ago
Is there a 2013 barolo with a broader range of reviews than the wines of Giacomo Fenocchio?? One reviewer says don’t bother, one reviewer says they have decades of amazement yet to come. I certainly look forward to finding out which one is right! The Giacomo Fenocchio 2013 canubbi has an elegant floral quality that is extremely appealing. There is strong spice to go along with the, at this stage, tightly wound fruit. I think there is potential for a big payoff and I look forward to seeing where this one goes over the next decade. — 7 years ago
White flowers, orange pith and gravel. This wine was fantastic and it really shows how great orange wine can be. — 7 years ago
The whites of Slovenia generally outperform the reds in my opinion, but this one stood toe to toe tonight. — 7 years ago

Spiced leather with dark fruit. These 2013’s are pretty fantastic already — 7 years ago
