Chardonnay. Fresh, rich. Citrus, crispy. Minerally. 2020 @1560, domaine, 230726 — 9 months ago
This wine with beef ragu pasta and lamb stew; an absolutely heavenly pairing! Boah, it was just so good. Bravo, Maxime. On the nose, lifted red fruits, fresh roses, herbs, olives, salt brine, and spiced meats. Extremely stony on the palate, with gritty texture and mouth-filling tannins. Finished long, earthy, minerally, and sharp. Just loved the elegance with a touch rusticity here. Still a baby at 8 years-old, so expect better pours of this in the future. — a month ago
Alain Graillot is synonymous with Northern Rhône and intrigues the mind as the name comes up on Moroccan Syrah per se. Label aside, this bottle will captivate any Syrah lover. It’s got this powerful dry nose and palate that will most certainly captivate. Not full but only medium bodied yet spicy, balanced, with a good finish. Cheers! To interesting wine. — 3 months ago
Archetypal northern Rhône Syrah. Dark fruit, black pepper, herbs, and a bit briney. Nice and savory. — 6 months ago

A very serious return to a cool vintage taste profile I don’t recall since the ‘14. Lavender, herbs, mineral in addition to the sweetly ripe blackberries and stems. Appreciating the 13% abv. — 20 days ago
