Excellent G-C taster btl @ Horseneck in town - preorder px is $125 — 4 months ago
Original price tag, this Crozes-Hermitage is really remarkable (I believe La Guiraude is a special cuvée?), meaty, smoky, classic aged French Syrah, long finish, amazingly this was the most ready to drink of these wines I’ve been posting tonight, and the favorite of at least one of our 6 tasters tonight!! With all that said, if anyone has bottles of this wine, it’s fully mature. — a month ago
Great Carignan but caught this probably 2-3 years before it would start to add the right tertiary elements. Outstanding wine that should creep up to 96 with time. Luscious and fresh dark red fruits, silky fine tannins, the nose on this is really persistent and perfumed! — 4 months ago
Light straw gold color. Aromas of apricot, citrus fruits, white flowers and a bit of sweet spice. Flavors of apricot, green melon, lemon, honey, and brioche. Touch of those spices on the long and savory finish. Slight creamy texture, crisp acidity and extremely complex. Medium bodied, rich and elegant. Quite good. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — a month ago
Fruit and earth and heme and amazing tannins and just a hint of Brett. Quite lovely though. Could certainly have aged longer but I didn’t feel like waiting. — a month ago
