I am always amazed at how good these old martini wines can be. This wasn’t just good for its age, it was just good.
Great color/still sweet on the mouth/nice finish.
The vast majority of these old wines from them that I’ve had have been at worst good with several like this one being very impressive — 7 months ago

Definitely fading and very much tasted of hotdogs on the palate. The nose was still pretty interesting — 7 years ago
A lot going on but still too young. The tannins are too powerful and intense for me. But there is a lot of dark fruit and complexity present. — 8 years ago
Really nice, flavorful but felt light. Mom liked. Rich liked. — 6 months ago
This charming wine is keeping me company while I bake tonight. User reviews are all over the place, but in my humble opinion, this 2022 is very good. A light bodied Neb, with bright juicy fruit, bitter but pleasant floral, and a tasteful kiss of oak which lends some depth. Good holiday wine.

As a nod to Karen (who some will remembered worked at Louis M. Martini decades ago—and is the nicest and best person to ever work in the wine industry) we opened this for my birthday. Paired it with a Tri Tip. It was a nice pairing. Good cab. It was better a couple years ago but still nice to drink for a special occasion. — a year ago

The Monte Rosso was outstanding in every way- expressive nose of dark red fruits and layers that touched all parts of the palate. The flavors complimented a wonderful dinner. 8 years and still getting better. 100 year old vines that show how good Zinfandel can be when grown and tended to reveal their sense of place. Outstanding 🍷🍷🍷 — 7 years ago

Delicious cab. Aged nicely. Paired well with our slow cooked beef. — 6 months ago
11/2025. Balanced, good fruit, not as big as expected. — 7 months ago
Pulled the 2011 out of the cellar. What a treat. Great dark berries and plum. Tannins have pretty much dissipated with age. Nice oak. Just what I was hoping it would taste like. The fruit and vanilla on the nose is amazing. — a year ago
Delicious field blend of Grenache 80% Mourvèdre 15% Syrah 5%. Displays ripe red fruits earthy pasture notes and irony meat/leather. (Subtle) happy with the amount of bottle age. Balanced with a long finish. — 4 years ago
Dark fruit, cherries, anise, and tobacco on the nose. Very dry wine. Dried fig, vanilla, more dark fruits, more cherry, and chocolate. Long finish of leather and oak. Drink now. Decant for an hour. — 6 years ago
Much more cranberry on the palate than I remember on the last bottle of this vintage. — 7 years ago

Great with beef stew. Cuts through fatty foods really well and brings a lovely smoothness out of the wine. On its own, it can lean towards vinegary, but I liked it either way tbh — 5 months ago
