VInho Tinto Rouge 2018

From Williston Park Wines and Spirits. Dark chocolate malted milk, cranberries, cherries, wood, like an almost bourbon finish 🤔 — 2 months ago

Gran Reserva El PeñasconVineyard Carménère 2016

Bold and smooth. Very Merlot like with notes of cocoa, black fruit, black cherry, tobacco and leather. A favourite for the night and paired perfectly with wood fire roasted ribs at Park Distillery in Banff. — 6 years ago

4th Friday of the month means Classic Wine Storage happy hour! Great wines, as always, today!

In the running for Pinot of the year. Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everything I love about Pinot...bing cherries, cola, crisp acidity, birch wood, and an orange zest in the mid palate. I look forward to having a chance to order RM pinots for the first time in January!

Floral Terranes

North Fork of Long Island Petit Verdot 2022

Yes, I know I said I was done with this winery, but (a) I really like what they’re doing; (b) I seem to have a higher tolerance for “weird reds” compared to “weird whites”; (c) I used to live on Long Island and I’m super into the wine scene there; and (d) guilt because one of the Floral Terranes guys follows me here and saw my comment last time lol 😬 Anyway, this is splendiferous. Dry, dark chocolate, roasted cherries, cranberry jam, some wood coming through. Love it. From Williston Park ❤️ — a year ago

@Diane M. Napolitano We don’t care what you said before. You should always be honest when you like or dislike a wine. It doesn’t hurt us but makes us work harder to focus and make better wines and ciders. Too many people cater to BS wines and silly stuff. Much respect to you and your opinions. Glad you dug this. No silliness here

Fanucchi Wood Road Vineyard Trousseau Gris

Bottle at Eleven Madison Park. Savvy pick by my dining companion. So complex. Skin contact white with luscious tropical fruit, some kind of light floral incense (sandalwood?). Magically delicious. — 7 years ago

Landwein Weissburgunder 2018

racy acid and gorgeously integrated wood, saline beginnings lead to green apples and stone after 48 hours open.....worth trying over a few days if you have the patience. gonna park the rest of these for a while. — 4 years ago

Domaine Castagnier

Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2013

2013 vintage at Central Park Voorburg. Medium body, light color. Beautiful raspberry, strawberry nose. Crushed stones, high minerality. Wood already nicely integrated, great balanced acidity. Medium length finish. Very good effort and still affordable grand cru. — 7 years ago

Altavins Viticoltors

Terra Alta Domus Pensi 2013

Here I am in Zion National Park. While my pizza was being made in a wood-fired brick oven, I'm listening to a kitchen staff member playing a 12 string Fender acoustic guitar IN THE KITCHEN while sipping an Alta Vins. Domus Pensi 2013. Delicious blend. Paired with a roasted vegetable pizza.....sublime. No one expect d this. Buy this wine. Please. You'll love it. — 7 years ago
