Sonoma County Trousseau

I’ve been saving a few of these to see how they age and I’m happy to report to @ownrooted and anyone else who cares, they’re doing fabulously. Still has bright berry fruit but now layered with wet leaves, mulling spices and dried citrus peel. Slightly dusty scent and lovey dried herbs lingering in the finish. ⁣

Held this one a bit too long. Vegetal and stewed fruit.

When you think it’s Jura but it’s not. Domestic trousseau done impeccably well.

Still enjoyable, but age doesn’t seem to be doing it any favors. I’d say drink up.

Beautiful red fruited crunchy tea-dipped zippy plush new world Trousseau. Less exuberant but more complex after a little cellar time.

When I need a lighter bodied red with a creamy mid-palate, shored up by sturdy acids and a delicious finish, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm gonna look for. #qpr #learnmoregrapes

Pale in color, Tomato toast, licorice

Beautiful floral herbal gorgeous color

NOTN (nose of the night)...ripe turned yeast. Vibrant and creamy. I've never been to Jura but this makes me want to sit in the foothills there and eat some bread, drink some wine and take a nap.

Some of the best Pinot I've ever tasted......but seriously it's one of my favorite CA wines
