In the running for Pinot of the year. Absolutely knocked it out of the park. Everything I love about Pinot...bing cherries, cola, crisp acidity, birch wood, and an orange zest in the mid palate. I look forward to having a chance to order RM pinots for the first time in January!

Well, it only took 2 days! Remember tasting this from barrel at Tamber Bey, and this is amazing even now. Complex, dark, dense fruit forward raspberry pie and rhubarb. This wine has POWER. Will hold for a long time too. I am thoroughly impressed with this Pinot. Definitely your "cab drinker's" pinot.

Lush, succulent Pinot…dark ruby on pour, dark fruits rise out of the glass setting the stage for an enjoyable first sip…no noticeable tannins…lingering finish…this vintage is in a really good place today

Last Kanzler. Blew me away after a 2- hour decant. A shame RM isn’t using fruit from this vineyard any longer. Good stuff!

Nov 28th, 2017Nice pinot on a tropical stormy rainy day. Relaxing in the hotel room after a nice relaxing day, and wouldn't you know this one just somehow ended up in the luggage! As full bodied as pinot can get. Raspberry liqueur and herbal notes. Sweeter young jammy fruited middle and finish. My favorite pinot right now so I hope I don't do anything stupid like drink them all before their time....like I'm doing....

Jul 16th, 2017I have reviewed this one before. This is a pinot for someone who says that they don't like Pinot. If you give them this and they still don't like pinot, then they REALLY DON'T LIKE PINOT. Dusty rose pour. Dirty raspberry and minty front. Well-extracted front and middle. With many pinots I have noted, the wine really doesn't seem to come back around full-circle. This one drops you off at your front doorstep without you even having to look at it. Still blown away by this wine. Beat an Alexana single vineyard 2014 Pinot with LOTS TO SPARE.
