Celebration time! The hubby is OFFICIALLY full professor. Got the letter from the university prez today. So to celebrate: cava brute nature. Aroma of pear with a dash of almond.. Zesty taste of lime, green apple, seashell and chalk. A little bitter at the end but I still like it. Good on its own or would be good to make cocktails out of. — a month ago

Fascinating wine from NE Spain: golden color w/green hue, made from Grenache Blanc w/some other white grapes I believe, amfora gave it a musky oxidized element, a lot of marine saline & minerality, tart citrus, some pucker & zingy acidity all juxtaposed w/some silky viscous mouthfeel. Well done, some white flowers, herbaceous notes, nicely structured, balanced through finish. These are the types of wines that hold my interest. — 9 days ago

Lemon, light cream, biscuit, and lots of yummy bubbles. Bright, crisp, and lightly citrusy. Refreshing. — 2 months ago
