— 5 years ago
pale yellow, fine mousse, good persistence; lemon, honey, white flowers, chalk, bread crust; citrus peel, very focused acidity, 12.5% ABV; made from 100% Chardonnay partially vinified in oak, sourced from their certified organic vineyards in Côte de Sézanne, partial MLF, zero dosage, disgorged September 2018, winemakers are husband-and-wife team Loïc Barrat and Aurélie Masson; $50 — 6 years ago
Matured raison flavor. Good balance with fruity, tanning, spicy. Tanning is major among them. Blue berry flavor rich. More two years or enough decanting would make it much better! @821/50(8100), F Enoteca, 190205 — 7 years ago

Light, smooth, tart, paired excellently with a truffle tagliatelle. — 6 months ago
Simplement fantastique! Robe riche et lumineuse, arômes fruités amples, généreux et bouche persuasive en raison de son tonus et de sa générosité fruitée, de sa finition impeccable. — 2 years ago

Maybe not as amazing as when it was just bottled (which was the last time I had it), but still so fresh, pure, and gulpable. Gamay is so transparent. It really channels the minerality of the terroir it’s grown in. Goes well with my Popeyes spicy chicken (crazy night). — 9 years ago

Vintage 2021 | Note to self: móre Rousanne. After tasting I put half a bottle in the fridge for 48 hours. Drank it with a baked dab, cichory and baked potatoes. Makes me happy. The wine is Rousanne 40 Grenache 30 and Clairette 30. Much violets in smell and a perfectly balanced taste. — a year ago
What is it about excellent Loire Chenin that just really really does it for me? Waxy, honeyed, gorgeous wine. — 3 years ago

$37, worth every cent. Mature, silky, full. Tastes complex and complete like a nice cab but with Pinot fruits: prunes, raison, old grapes lots of tannins. Wish I could afford to drink this every night — 8 years ago
The Latin name for north-northwest winds is CERCIUS – the defining feature and raison d'etre for partners Michel Gassier, Philippe Cambie and Eric Solomon to launch this new project. A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah, with nice berry and floral aromas. Raspberry & cherry flavors maintain freshness from concrete tanks used during vinification. Fine tannins, medium finish, nice value. — 9 years ago

2019 vintage. 100% Chenin Blanc. Helluva bridge wine between Champagne and white Burg. Medium body. Excellent acidity. Some roundness. Some primary fruit and supplemental derivatives. Complicated shizz and for fairly advanced palates. Prom king/queen in its’ own way and for those that have the experience/wherewithal to realize it as such. 2.26.26. — 4 months ago
