not very fruity. but oaky. soft tannin. high acidity. medium to full body. bitter tannin at finish. a bit out of balance.

Last had nearly 4 years ago. Honestly it is not drinking that differently, which is to say it’s still very delicious and quite primary. Wonderful refined aromatics. Mouth filling and some real tannins that are present but not overbearing. Long refreshing acid driven finish. Opened 5 hours prior, no decant. Paired with salsa verde marinated skirt steaks. — 2 months ago
From the odd bins collection in my cellar. Dark dense Ruby in colour. Aniseed, ripe Blackberry, dried red fruits, full bodied and a bit rustic. For lovers of full bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz. Probably a better winter red. — 3 years ago

Dry. Flavors of black cherry, rose, peppercorn, tar, spice. Rich, chewy tannins. Great acidity!
