Had this again. So exemplary of why Littorai is worth the list subscription. Double decanted back into bottle for about 2 hours and then about an hour into drinking it came to life with such lifted aromatics and elegance. Now I need to be more patient and lay these down — 4 months ago
Slight nod over the Rivers-Marie 2013 Gioia (still very fruit driven) and Failla 2013 Occidental Ridge. The Littorai was the most evolved and Burgundian of the bunch. — 9 months ago
Robust and juicy. Long finish that highlights forest floor, berries and earth. Drinking very well right now — 9 months ago
Bright citrus with a little honey and roundness, but still some salinity — 3 years ago

Had the 2024 in April of 2026 and paired it with Russian stroganoff. Was a really tasty wine. Lighter bodied with hints of blackberry and cherry. Slightly vegetal with light tannins. Hints of something floral dance around the nose. Super easy to drink and most enjoyable. Glad I have another bottle! — 3 months ago
Still fresh, big wine. Widly different than the Pousse on Christmas Eve — 6 months ago

Very elegant. Perfect summer sipper at sunset — a year ago

Nose is classic Goldtropfchen. Big tropical fruits slathered in slate. Some sweet tart. Palate is rich, ripe, sweet and has the richness of the juice in a fruit cup but also an icing on the cake texture. Gorgeously pure wine. — 2 months ago
