A rich Crimson in colour. Cabernet aromas immediately noticed. A Bordeaux blend from Bolgheri, Tuscany. I’m sure this wine would be difficult to pick as Italian in a lineup of left bank Bordeaux from 2015. This has blackberry, plum and earth flavours all wrapped in spicy oak. Will go on into the early 2030s. Thoroughly enjoyable. Next in a couple of years. — 6 days ago

Rich nose shows moist humus, toasted brown bread, rich dark berry fruit, sandstoney gravel. Dark and concentrated on the palate. Rich flavors show dark minerals, dark chocolate, graphite, but not a lot of fruit per se. lengthy finish has a lot of tannin. This could go for several more years but is very nice now. — 4 years ago

Dark Ruby with aromas of earthy ripe black and red berries with slight note of cacao and woody spice. On the palate flavors of ripe, juicy fruit with oak, tobacco, leather and peppery-spicy tones, dense and persistent, firm tightly wound tannins need to integrate with oak. Long finish, complex ending with juicy sweet fruit and toasty notes. Must mature! — 6 years ago
