Great wine. The reviews from 2014 do not matter. Who drinks Barolo after five years. Wine is now complex, leather tobacco, great tannins and body. Pleasant long finish. Great wine! — 6 years ago

2025 vintage. A bit more colour, and a more round mouth feel, and a little less tension compared to the excellent 2024. Another winner from this estate. This is a highly gastronomic rosé. Works wonderfully with a shrimp/zucchini risotto. Abv. 13% — 4 months ago

Dense ruby dress. Candied, roasted, spicy nose. In the mouth it is thick, with a soft touch. Notes of candied fruits, dried raisins, prune, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, licorice, mocha, flowers and perfumes.. great aromatic intensity. Do you like modern wines on purity and not very interventionist? It's pretty much the opposite! Can be associated with cheeses of character, as well as desserts. Last but not least, it is a wine that is self-sufficient and appreciates itself very well.

Robe rubis dense. Nez confit, torréfié, épicé. En bouche c’est épais, avec un toucher doux. Notes de fruits confits, raisin secs, pruneau, cacao, vanille, caramel, réglisse, moka, fleurs et parfums.. grande intensité aromatique. Vous aimez les vins modernes sur la pureté et peu interventionnistes? C’est à peu près tout l’inverse! Pourra s’associer aux fromages de caractère, autant qu’aux dessert. Enfin et surtout, c’est un vin qui se suffit à lui-même et s’apprécie très bien tout seul. — 3 years ago

Just crazy. So aromatic, so complex and so fine. Stemmy but unreal fruit and freshness. After 11 hours this is so fine, so elegant and so refined. Nose smells like Xmas with cinnamon, clove, spice, cardamon, and elegant sour cherry. Palate is so deep, so juicy and has this wonderful stemmy sweetness. Great tannins, that are silky and sauve. des champs, cerise, griottes avec un mélange d’épices et de roses Une bonne structure avec une belle attaque en bouche. Longueur moyenne.

To go with a simple pasta dish with chicken, mushrooms, cream, parmesan and fresh herbs. An expressive nose with floral hints and some red fruits. Good structure on this fairly ample wine, has some width on the palate, and yet a nice freshness and some fruit, with good elegance to it, the only negative for me is a length that is very average at best. Nothing spectacular but good Savigny. 88-89 pts

Nez expressif et aromatique avec du fruit rouge et un côté floral assez prononcé. La bouche a une belle fraîcheur et un beau fruit pur et une bonne élégance, une certaine structure sur ce vin assez large et dense surtout sur cette appellation . Un beau Savigny avec comme seul reproche une longueur moyenne. 88-89 — 6 years ago
