I’ve had other Bermejos wines, but never their rosé. My new favorite from the Canary Islands. Pink-orange hue, watermelon and strawberry, some citrus. Great fruit concentration and mouth-watering acid with distinct volcanic minerals and some sea salt. Winner for summer. — 3 months ago
Fucking righteous. Bright but deep. — 3 months ago
Dry, light, earthy. Quite nice. — a month ago
Macerated cherry, spice, cigar box, Mediterranean herbs, all come alive in this exceptional field blend of native varieties on Tenerife’s volcanic soils: Táganan, named for the area, from Spanish superstars Envínate. Intensely perfumed, it’s a stunning, elegant red with tremendous clarity and precision, clean and bright with great structure. The finish is long, with saturated sour cherry and a kiss of vanilla. Immaculate stuff, memorable. Decanting essential.

Nearly 8 years old and the acidity is still off the charts. Love it. Little smoky note on the nose and rocky notes at the end—so volcano. Lots of cherry with a bit of raspberry zip in the middle. Moderate-minus tannins. Wish it lingered longer. — 15 days ago
I generally like canary island reds ie listan negro quite a bit. This one veered a bit too austere for me. Some nice refined dark fruit and a lot of peppery herbs. Mouthfeel and finish are slightly thin, but the acid is certainly there and this still feels complete and well made. Just not quite giving enough. — 2 months ago

Enjoyed with Greek festival lamb gyros and chicken pita, spanakopita….very good together. Bright, pithy lemon citrus with balanced salinity. Nice acidity. Substrate wine club pick (Sept’25). Thanks Matt. great choice! — 10 days ago
