Certainly checked the “unique” box but not something I’m dying to open again. Woodsy, gravel nose is reminiscent of Burgundy but it felt thin on the finish. Will see if the other bottle gets more exciting with age.

1st Taganan tinto in a while… all the point people are cheesing over Envínate’s ‘20 in the canaries and this was, of course, phenomenal. Still, I think for my buck I’ll take a benje (or one of those immensely farty but delicious Migan Chingao if I want to get more specific on the terroir)
