2019. Since I made a big batch of Bolognese earlier this week, tonight was leftovers, and we pulled this Nero d’Avola to drink with it. PnP and I was surprised the combo didn’t really pair well and made the wine finish a little boozy. So, we just let it open up in the glass while sipping for a few hours. Huge change as the fruit filled in and the finish smoothed out! — a month ago
Raspberry, very fruity, moderate tanins, light acidity on the end. — 5 months ago
Note that this is the “North Coast” Trousseau, not “Clear Lake”. 2022 vintage. Beautiful wine - cherries, tobacco, a bit of leather, rose water. Almost like a very light Barbaresco. Lovely wine. — 5 months ago
Under $20 at Costco. Dark fruits, medium bodied, a little sugar, light tannins, easy oak and spice finish. Pairs well with salmon. Crowd pleaser. 👍 — 22 days ago

One of our favorite Sauvignon Blancs from CA. Reminds us of a good white Bordeaux. Lemoncello notes but softer with apricot and some floral notes. — a month ago
