Phenomenal! Dark plum base but layers of exhiberant and concentrated small dark berries and red fruit jump from the glass, but all enveloped in deep, complex earthy tones. Palate is insane, minerality and acidity are tingling, almost sparking on the sides of the mouth, mingling with the very fine lively tannins. So much pleasure without sacrificing any seriousness — 5 months ago
took some coaxing but the subtle nose revealed lime, Granny Smith, talcum powder and white flowers
flavors ranged from creamy apple, white peach and yellow pears to lemon twist and lime aid
a bees wax to lanolin feel contrasted by the beam of citrus acid — 7 months ago

Had this at a blind tasting. Thought it was a chenin at first. Medium acid. Notes of green apple, lemon peel. — 2 months ago
I found this 2018 bottling uneven. However, this bottle was excellent. — 3 months ago
Superb nice nose of ripe cherry, a touch of Cola, hays, earth and leather. Wow this is so nice and inviting! The palate is so very well made, with a great acid backbone, some width, some cherry and Cola notes all along. A smooth mouthfeel that turns into a bit of a tannic wall in the rear. That structure is rather uncanny for a Beaujolais gamay! The finish is fruity with cherry but mostly marked by the tannins layer that dries everything out. That's a bold and structured Beaujolais here! — 6 months ago

2020. I believe this is my first Romorantin based wine, so I read through the tasting notes here and was excited to try it. Rich orchard fruit, good acid, and definitely get the oxidized sherry-like notes some mentioned. Paired with snacks while watching the Masters. Not quite their Pimento Cheese Sandwich, but my goat cheese stuffed roasted red peppers and black olives went great with the wine! — 17 days ago
