Clos de Pavillon Fleurie Gamay

Superb nice nose of ripe cherry, a touch of Cola, hays, earth and leather. Wow this is so nice and inviting! The palate is so very well made, with a great acid backbone, some width, some cherry and Cola notes all along. A smooth mouthfeel that turns into a bit of a tannic wall in the rear. That structure is rather uncanny for a Beaujolais gamay! The finish is fruity with cherry but mostly marked by the tannins layer that dries everything out. That's a bold and structured Beaujolais here!
