Pale electric purple, plenty of acid and grip. Savory components plus sage and lavender, rhubarb, white pepper. Perfect with Kuby’s sausages and grilled root veggies. Nothing overripe here.

2016 vintage. Great typicity. Magenta color, floral and red fruit aromatics. Wild strawberry, cranberry, red apple skin, lingonberry, wet rocks, fresh pink flowers, hibiscus, green tea.

Good red fruit aromas and flavors, somewhat light, I had thought 2016 was a pretty fine vintage in France, but this and the previous Morgon don’t support that thesis, enjoyable but not great.
