Point Barre Arbois Pupillin Ploussard 2015

Typically, I'd say opening this in the midst of aged greats would be a bad idea (as with what happened to the 16' Vasse Felix Cab Sauv), but somehow this worked... For me, at least. The crowd was pretty much divided though. I thought it was a nice break... A sort of fresh red kabi to cleanse our palate in between reds. But can you even call this a red... Such a delicate colour... It's more like a rosé or orange wine 🤣 red currant, sour cherries, citrus, cinammon, wet stone, a touch of musk. Delicious ploussard! — 9 days ago

Champs Poids Côtes du Jura Chardonnay 2014

Чуть редуктивно, хорошая кислотность. Очень строго. Крепкие кислые яблоки, железо, аскорбинка, вода из ручья, тоффи. — 13 days ago

Les Gaudrettes Côtes du Jura Chardonnay 2016

Gold color fairly reticent nose, probably needs decant but did not. A fave producer. Mostly lanolin, beeswax, medium body. Had with five spice duck. Yum! — 21 days ago

Entre Deux Bleus Les Saugettes Côtes du Jura Savagnin 2016

Opens up reductively, with aromas of gunpowder, lemon and mineral. Super concentrated with very high acidity. Layers and layers of lemon, saline minerality and the longest finish I have yet experienced. The flavour lingers for several minutes, actually allowing a rather slow rate of drinking, as opposed to other outstanding wines with ”just” a typically long finish. — 9 days ago
