On the nose snaps with a dark blackberry and cherry fruit and lingers of veggie, spice and eucalyptus. Nicely made and exuding character. Nose has bright, deep plummy fruit, along with nice, fragrant spice and a wisp of smoke. Mouthfilling, pure fruit on the palate, with a light touch, finish turns savory and shows lots of stony minerality. Nice acids and a bit of soft, chalky tannin comes out at the end. July 15, 2019. TTW Wine of the month for June 2019. I rarely drink a Malbec (unless I’m in Argentina!) as I normally don’t care for them, but this was an exception. Full bodies and complex, there is a lot going on here. Ripe black fruit (prune, deep plum) with some mocha and spice. Very interesting wine. — 7 years ago
