The 2006 was not cheap back then but compared to the price of current vintages it was an absolute steal! Winemaker John Simes signed the bottle and we were sorry to see it go but it was time to drink up. Polished, sleek and very well put together! Black as pitch, red fruit and plums with a lovely whiff of violets, the palate was redolent with black fruit flavours and silky smooth tannin. A lovely Bordeaux blend from the sunny Okanagan! — 19 days ago
Still quite inky with just a little lightening at the edges. Starts a little tart and astringent but then presents cassis, plum, chocolate and black tea. Finish is quite long with a hint of bell pepper and lingering tannins. — 9 days ago

A tasting note for Camins 2 Dream Syrah from John Sebastiano Vineyard. Because I couldn’t find where else to log it. Limestone soil. Kirsch. 30% whole cluster. Juicy red cherry. Strawberry cotton candy. Vibrant color. Lifted acid tone. Tingly on the palate. — 11 days ago
Winery started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Medium Ruby with ripe berry fruit flavors, some tea, floral and spice notes. On the palate, cherry, cranberry and raspberry flavors with herb and citrus notes. Fine grainy tannins on medium+ finish ending with slight bitter saline character. Now! — 3 days ago
