Earthy, mildly tannic, pretty good amount of acidity. I wanted tacos in corn torillas when i drank this wine. — 2 years ago

Deep ruby in color; plum, blackberry, and a little black cherry on the nose; high acidity; tastes like sour cherries, blackberries, and black pepper; more savory than fruity; smooth tannins and a long finish. An interesting experience. It's probably good with meat dishes. Maybe steak. Opened up a lot after some aeration. It's not fruity, but it's definitely a quality wine. — 2 years ago
2018 vintage. Owned by Roger Zannier. Vinified by João Cabral Nicolau de Almeida. Dark red with purplish rim. Intense nose with blackberry jam, amarena cherries and subtle oak. Powerful, but fresh , with layers of black fruit packed in a ripe tannic structure. Long spicy finish. Abv. 13,5%. — 2 years ago
Solid white, easy drinking. No dry after taste and in Azores regularly on sale for about 3euros a bottle — 10 months ago
Exuberantly fruity but clearly balanced. Quite rich, spicy and blackcurranty. €12.95 O'Briens offer. — 2 years ago
A bit chocolate-y? Black berries has a bite to it. — 2 years ago
In beautiful shape, better than I remember the last bottle being. Dried red and black fruits, dry dusty tannins, forest floor, dried porcini mushroom and old leather umami nodes, cedar, dried herbs. Did I mention it’s dry? But it’s a beautiful wine, the flavor profile exudes sun baked warmth but the alcohol clocks in at less than 12% so it doesn’t fatigue the palate — 2 years ago
