Very light, no tannin. Chilled is best — a year ago
@Delectable Wine this is Jean-Marie Fourrier Vosne Romanee Aux Reas Vielle Vigne, which I couldn't find in the database.
Pop and pour. In an excellent place. On the nose: cola, glossy red fruit, pomegranate liqueur, mulberry leaf. On the palate: lovely acidity, savory herbs and blackberry/cherry compote, Still some grainy tannin on the finish. Still somewhat primary, but drinking very well. — 4 years ago

Sweet without being too sugary or syrupy. Similar to a moderate Riesling. — 12 years ago
Pretty good. And a fun bottle. — 14 years ago
2025 vintage. Sense of place, balance and harmony. What I generally like about Sancerre blanc written would fill the entirety of your thumbnail. This, however, is clean, has some mineralité and drinking well now with extra concentration and length of finish oomph. Picked up 3 cases. 8.12.26. — 13 hours ago

Bought this to be the "wine before the wine" bottle and while light and crispy (as you would expect) , it really holds its own as far as strength on the flavor profile. Highly recommendable Sancerre #sancerre #wine #whitewine #domaine #france — 11 years ago

Ripe fruit, silky texture, delightful — 6 years ago
Minerality, river rocks, salinity, apricot, orchard fruit, grape fruit. Some spice on the palette, nutmeg perhaps. Peach in the finish. High acid, lighter medium body. Beautifully well-balanced and delightful. — 8 years ago

Tom Casagrande
This is the Les Villots cuvée. Serving at cellar temp. Nose shows bright mid season cherry, a light floral note (like violets but higher toned) and crushed stone. Fairly intense on the palate, surprisingly, but still shows nice freshness. It’s full without any jamminess or overly sappy fruit. Chiseled. Tannins very soft and in the background. Very nice. — 3 days ago
