Mild petrol and wet stones on the nose. Crisp, dry citrus with lots of minerality! Very nice Austrian Riesling. — 3 months ago
It’s like FALL in a glass .. cheers to Fall! — 5 months ago
2021 summer. Many Spätburgunders have a bitter, herbal character which is a bit reminiscent of some amari. This has that too, but with red fruit and spice which reminds one of Burgundy as well. — 6 months ago
A few days shy of 3 years since my last btl. Strangely, I see no note for that experience. On the nose: soft game, dense pomegranate. pomegranate molasses, soft herbs...my wife loved this btl, which slightly surprised me. On the palate: fantastic acidity, vanilla, dense pomegranate and wild sttawberry, soft tannin on the finish. Stunning right now. — 3 months ago
Structure resolved, fruit still late primary but plenty complex. Jaw dropping nose of forest and dark dark berries of some sort. Surprise in serious Burg GC line-up and more than held its own. Revisit in 5 years. — 5 months ago
Fresh & sappy, springs out of the glass with ripe raspberry, red currant, a bit of rhabarbar, with a fine woody note. Light yet quite seductive.
On the palate very fine & very fresh with juicy, zippy acidity, with the tannins framing the sappy fruit very nicely.
This is drinking beautifully already now. Delicious stuff! — 7 months ago
