Very good. Cherries, cola, and a hint of blood orange. Well integrated tannins. Drinking well right now. — 5 years ago

Smooth but feels a bit contrived. What does “cigar blend” really mean? — 3 months ago
1 of CA's oldest wineries, Far Niente, founded 1885 by John Benson. Winery flourished until Prohibition, when it was abandoned & fell into complete disrepair. Stately stone shell of a winery purchased in 1979 by Gil Nickel. A big wine! Tropical and stone fruit aromas with complex spice and oak notes. On the palate apple, peach and citrus flavors, creamy, with buttery toasty oak, fig/honey tones. Long finish ending with vibrant acidity & mineral character. Consistent. — 8 months ago
Golden amber color. Briny, diluted iodine, smoky, red fruit, floral and herbal notes on the nose. Warm mouthfeel. Hints of sherry and stewed fruits on the palate. — 5 years ago

Light gold color. Lovely, complex nose of camomile, butter, steel, and lemongrass. Similar flavors on the palate. Medium plus depth that coats the palate and has a long, lingering finish. Possibly the best U.S. Chard QPR! — 7 days ago
