Tannins are silky smooth and well integrated.
Dark fruits on palate with balance of alcohol and acidity, AbV at 13% much lower than typical Oz Shiraz @14.5%
At 8 years this is likely at its optimal drinking age

My last one of this vineyard and vintage and although my preference is to have 10 years from vintage for these, I couldn’t resist. Really nice dark berries and cherries are complemented by aromas of leather and aromatic wood. Bold tannins but smooth on the mid-palate and finish. — 4 months ago
